Generals and Number of Soldiers
There were a total of 4 generals, and it was kind of uneven. On the Confederate side, there was only one general, which was Robert E. Lee. But, on the Union side, there were 3 generals; General George G. Meade, General James Long Streat, and General George Picket. The number of soldiers for the South was 75,000 men, and there was a total of 90,000 soldiers for the North.

What helped the battle to end this battle was "Picket's Charge, and this is what is also said to have secured the Union's victory against the Confederacy.

The reason why Robert E. Lee wanted to invade the North was so that he could get fresh supllies as well as hurt the upcoming election.

The Union had three Generals so there would be a new one for each day. General Meade was the general for the first day, then General Streat on the 2nd day, and lastly General Picket on the last day.

Significance
The battle of Gettysburg was very important because it was the time where the south never recovered from it. As a result, it caused the North to get a huge advantage over them.
